Focus and Scope

Aim

An Idea Health Journal (IHJ) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal providing critical analysis of the forces shaping the Asia-Pacific region and Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), exploring  Nursing, Public Health, Maternal Health and Allied health diciplines. highlighting Idea of local contexts, Idea of cultural perspectives, and Idea of practical solutions that are often underrepresented in leading international journals.

 

Focus 

IHJ is primarily focused on clinical questions and applied research, and on issues relating to patients and clinical care in terms of prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment that address real-world challenges in patient care and health systems, particularly in Asia-Pacific region and LMICs.

Specific focus or topics covered in the journal include:

  • Evidence-based practice that improves patient outcomes in diverse and resource-limited settings with new Idea and innovation.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration across nursing, Public Health and Midwives
  • Community and public health initiatives are designed and adapted to local sociocultural contexts.
  • Cultural and contextual perspectives that shape health behaviors, patient–provider interactions, and models of care delivery.
  • Healthcare innovation and technology, including digital health, informatic health are adapted to local realities or combine in new technology. 

 

Scope

The majority of papers in IHJ  are written by Nurses, Public Health and Midwives. with no retraction on authorship for other health profession, as long as the article align with the stated focus and scope, particularly with regard to world health issue preventive.

if public health is all public health practitioners and researchers and those who manage and deliver public health services and systems. It will also be of interest to anyone involved in provision of public health programmes, the care of populations or communities and those who contribute to public health systems in any way,  if Nurses Particurarly with regards  implication to nursing science, nursing management, evidence based nursing, informatic nursing, gerontology nursing, holistic nursing and nursing practice for hospital and midwives focus on pregnancy, malnutrition, stunting and the birth process.
